LEASE VEHICLE NOTICE: All leased vehicles requesting a specialty plate must submit a copy of the valid lease agreement for the vehicle that the specialty license plate is being attached to. To process a request for a specialty plate for a leased vehicle please complete the plate purchase below and then attach the copy of the lease.
Personalized Plate Notice: If your current License Plate is a Florida Personalized Plate and you purchase a standard Florida Specialty Plate you will lose the personalization.

Revenue generated from sales of the 'In God We Trust' specialty license plate go to fund educational scholarships for the children of Florida residents who are members of the United States Armed Forces, the National Guard, and the United States Armed Forces Reserve and for the children of public safety employees who have died in the line of duty who are not covered by existing state law. Funds shall also be distributed to other s. 501(c)(3) organizations that may apply for grants and scholarships and to provide educational grants to public and private schools to promote the historical and religious significance of American and Florida history.
Florida's specialty license plate program allows drivers to purchase creative and unique license plates that support specific organizations and causes. Proceeds from these plates benefit the organizations they are associated with. The personalized license plate program in Florida allows for Florida drivers to customize their license plate with original combinations of letters and or numbers.
Things to remember when personalizing a Specialty License plate
Personalization Availability: Make sure to check availability of the personalization you are requesting. If you do not, and the personalization you request is not available your order will be delayed while we attempt to reach you.
Character Types: Personalized plates can use letters, numbers, or a combination of both. No specialty characters of any kind are allowed.
Objectionable Content: Our clerks as well as the DHSMV can reject any personalized plate configuration deemed offensive, obscene, or inappropriate.

By submitting this information to Broward Tag and Title you are giving Broward Tag and Title authorization to look up vehicles registered to you and any attached vehicle information. You are also Authorizing Broward Tag and Title to submit all required request forms to attach the requested plate to your specified vehicle.You may not request Specialty Plates on behalf of anyone but yourself. You must be the registered owner of the vehicle. Broward Tag and Title charges handling fees in addition to state fees for the express specialty tag services offered. All Specialty License Plate purchases take up to 7 business days for processing.
