LEASE VEHICLE NOTICE: All leased vehicles requesting a specialty plate must submit a copy of the valid lease agreement for the vehicle that the specialty license plate is being attached to. To process a request for a specialty plate for a leased vehicle please complete the plate purchase below and then attach the copy of the lease.
Personalized Plate Notice: If your current License Plate is a Florida Personalized Plate and you purchase a standard Florida Specialty Plate you will lose the personalization.
The gift certificate may be purchased for any of the specialty license plates currently available in Florida. At the time of purchase, a receipt will be provided and a credit will be issued in the name of the gift recipient, which can then be redeemed by the recipient at the time the specialty license plate is purchased. We believe that specialty license plates will make great gifts, and that this new program will provide a great opportunity to promote the many causes and organizations represented by the plates. Please remember that in Florida, most registrations are renewed on the birth date of the registrant, so these gift certificates can also be a great birthday gift.
Where do the Specialty Plate Fees go? The money raised from the sale of these license plates goes directly to the organization that it represents. Since the inception of specialty license plate millions of dollars have been raised for the organizations.
By submitting this information to Broward Tag and Title you are giving Broward Tag and Title authorization to look up vehicles registered to you and any attached vehicle information. You are also Authorizing Broward Tag and Title to submit all required request forms to attach the requested plate to your specified vehicle.You may not request Specialty Plates on behalf of anyone but yourself. You must be the registered owner of the vehicle. Broward Tag and Title charges handling fees in addition to state fees for the express specialty tag services offered. All Specialty License Plate purchases take up to 7 business days for processing.
