NOTE: ALL FLORIDA RESIDENTS OF ALL FLORIDA COUNTIES CAN ORDER THIS PLATE.

Revenue goes to Achievement and Rehabilitation Centers, Inc., to fund service programs for autism and related disabilities throughout the state and to operate and establish programs to support individuals with autism and related disabilities through direct services, evaluation, training, and awareness. Achievement and Rehabilitation Centers, Inc., shall establish an Autism Services Grant Council that shall provide grants from available Autism license plate proceeds to nonprofit organizations for direct services and programs for individuals with autism and related disabilities and their families. Consideration for participation in such services and programs shall be given to applicants who are children or adults with autism and related disabilities and their families and shall include those who are on the Agency for Persons with Disabilities waiting lists for services. Achievement and Rehabilitation Centers, Inc., shall also establish an Autism License Plate Fund. Moneys in the fund shall be used by the grant council as provided in this paragraph. All funds received under this subsection must be used in this state.

Florida's specialty license plate program allows drivers to purchase creative and unique license plates that support specific organizations and causes. Proceeds from these plates benefit the organizations they are associated with. The personalized license plate program in Florida allows for Florida drivers to customize their license plate with original combinations of letters and or numbers.

Things to remember when personalizing a Specialty License plate

Personalization Availability: Make sure to check availability of the personalization you are requesting. If you do not, and the personalization you request is not available your order will be delayed while we attempt to reach you.

Character Types: Personalized plates can use letters, numbers, or a combination of both. No specialty characters of any kind are allowed.

Objectionable Content: Our clerks as well as the DHSMV can reject any personalized plate configuration deemed offensive, obscene, or inappropriate.

LEASE VEHICLE NOTICE: All leased vehicles requesting a specialty plate must submit a copy of the valid lease agreement for the vehicle that the specialty license plate is being attached to. To process a specialty plate request for a leased vehicle please make sure to include a complete copy of the lease when entering your specific vehicle information.
